Caring for Your Candle Jar

  1. Cleaning: Please do not put the candle jar in the dishwasher. To clean the inside of the jar, use the bamboo spatula to remove any wax debris. Then use a microfiber cloth to remove any remaining residue.
  2. Burning Instructions: Allow the candle to burn all the way to the bottom for optimal use. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn.
  3. Jar Maintenance: The candle jar may be hand washed and dried when needed. However, refrain from washing the lid or base, as the bamboo components can expand when exposed to moisture.

Caring for Your Wicks

  1. Trimming: Before each lighting, ensure the wick is trimmed to about 1/4 inch for a clean and controlled burn. This helps reduce soot and ensures a consistent flame.
  2. Adjust: Carefully lift the wicks if  they are lying flat, prior to lighting.
  3. Burn Time: For the best results, burn the candle for at least 1 hour during each use. The recommended optimal burn time for each lighting is approximately 2 hours.

Safety Instructions

  1. Never Leave Unattended: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always extinguish the candle when leaving the room or before going to sleep.
  2. Flammable Items: Keep the candle away from flammable materials, such as curtains, papers, or fabrics. Maintain a safe distance of at least 6 inches from any flammable items.
  3. Children and Pets: Place the candle out of reach of children and pets. Ensure it is positioned on stable surfaces beyond their grasp.
  4. Surface Placement: Avoid placing the candle on the edges of surfaces where it could be easily knocked over or disturbed.
  5. Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation when burning the candle. Avoid using the candle in small, enclosed spaces without adequate airflow.
  6. Multiple Candles: If burning multiple candles in close proximity, ensure they are spaced apart to prevent uneven burning or excessive heat.
  7. Extinguishing: Use a candle snuffer or carefully blow out the flame to extinguish the candle. Avoid using the lid to extinguish the flame.
  8. Hot Wax: The candle jar can become hot during use. Allow the jar to cool before handling or moving it.
  9. Burn Time: Do not exceed the recommended burn time of 4 hours per lighting session.
  10. Storage: Store the candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

By following these care and safety guidelines, you can enjoy your candle responsibly and create a warm and inviting atmosphere in your space.
