Sustainable Flames™ is a company that believes that luxury and sustainability are not mutually exclusive. Our mission is to create high-quality, eco-friendly products that are both stylish and functional. We are committed to reducing waste and preserving the earth’s resources by creating refillable products that can be used time and time again.

What colors are available?
Our first run will feature our inaugural jar in Amber with the powerful sentiment “I am changing the world.” In addition to this Amber jar with a brown ceramic lid, we will also be offering:
- black jar with a black ceramic lid
- White glossy jar with a white ceramic lid
Our next run will introduce jars with other inspiring sentiments, as well as an option with no sentiment, giving you more variety to choose from while still enjoying our sustainable luxury candles.
How long do the candles last?
Our sustainable luxury candles are designed to provide a long-lasting burn. Each candle offers an impressive 50-hour burn time, allowing you to enjoy the exquisite fragrances and ambiance for extended periods.
How long can I burn the candle each time I light it?
Two to four hours is recommended for even burning. The first time you light the candle, you will want to burn it until the wax pools completely across the surface of the candle. This will help to prevent tunneling and set the memory for how the candle will burn. It is not recommended that you light your candle for the first time unless you have time to burn it until this occurs..
How can I clean the candle jar?
To clean the jar, use the bamboo spatula to remove any waxy residue. Then, using a microfiber cloth or paper towel dipped in cooking oil or olive oil, wipe the inside of the jar and base clean. The oil will separate the hardened wax from the jar and base surface. It is not recommended to hand wash the jar. If you insist on washing the jar, use warm water and a mild soap. Do not expose the jar to extreme heat or cold water. Do not use any harsh chemicals, as that can damage the jar or remove the print.
Is the candle jar microwave-safe?
It is not safe to microwave the candle jar.
Is the jar dishwasher safe?
It is not recommended to put the jar in the dishwasher.
Are the candles pet friendly?
There are scents that are toxic to pets. We have done our best to research scents that can cause problems to your animal companions, and we will be avoiding those ingredients.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes, our packaging is recyclable. We are committed to sustainability and recycling is very important to us. The Sustainable Flames team is constantly looking for ways to decrease our carbon footprint and welcome any suggestions you might have.

You will receive two surveys. The first survey will confirm your fragrance selections. The second will be to confirm your address, shipping preferences, and for you to pay for your shipping method.
Shipping
How long will it take to get my order?
1. When we are ready to begin shipping orders from our campaign you will be sent an email asking you to select your shipping preferences, at which time you will be given an estimated shipping time and a tracking number for your order.

Are shipping and taxes included?
Taxes are included in the price of the candle and shipping will be paid for by the customer when an order is placed.
Do you offer free shipping?
We do not currently offer free shipping. However, we do have a gift card holiday offer. Those receiving gift cards have the shipping costs to US destinations included in the gift card. And watch for special offers in the future.
Who are your shipping providers?
We have partnered with ShipMonk to provide our customers with the best shipping options possible wherever they may be because we know that sometimes people need products in a hurry, sometimes they want the most economical option available, and sometimes they may want to use their favorite courier. How do I initiate a return?
We are a company built with sustainable values. If your jar arrives damaged, we will replace it. We will need your order information and a photo of the damage. We do not accept returns unless a product is damaged or defective. Contact sales@sustainableflames.com if you have any problems with your order. Please include the tracking number you received at checkout as well as the details related to the problem you have with your order.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we ship world-wide except for North Korea and Russia. Please be aware that shipping may not be available in active war zones.
